Performance Management System & Process

A good performance management system allows managers to identify the employees who perform their jobs well and offer them recognition and rewards. This can help motivate them to continue to optimize their performance while also inspiring other employees.

This client upgraded not only the performance management process which required a comprehensive communication and change management plan, but they also upgraded their performance management tool, which required a significant training effort. 

We started by taking the client through our process to understand stakeholders, audiences and how performance management was integrated with other company systems.

Next we:

  • Built a communication and change management strategy.

  • Developed extensive web and in-person training materials for employees and managers.

  • Created a suite of communication materials and templates, including videos, web content, emails, posters and more.

  • Managed the logistics to deliver in-person training for employees and people managers across multiple client locations.

While on a road trip to support the delivery of the training we developed, our primary client contact lost her voice, and Weland Communications stepped in and delivered the remaining sessions.
